Part 1: Why Prometheus PPC?
What makes Prometheus PPC special?
In a nutshell, these 3 things set us apart:
- Our Google Ads specialization
- Our highly analytic approach
- Our white glove attention
You can read further details below on each point.
Why do you specialize in Google Ads?
We specialize in Google Ads so that we can be among the best of the agencies in this niche.
Running ad campaigns for Facebook or LinkedIn, or doing SEO, content publication, email marketing, etc. each require different skill sets and experience. Our team members have all chosen to focus on mastering Google Ads. This ensures we are always up-to-date with the latest Google Ads features and best practices, building upon our years of direct experience.
(NOTE: If you have agencies or individuals that provide these other marketing services for you, we will happily coordinate with them to share learnings across platforms. And if you are seeking such experts, we can often provide good recommendations.)
What is your analytic approach to campaign optimization?
Our engineering roots in MIT and Silicon Valley drive all that we do, giving us a relentless focus on accurately measuring and optimizing what matters.
We don’t give you magic words for your creatives — we split-test targeted ideas and keep the winners.
We don’t engage in busywork — we make solid long-term decisions based on statistically significant data.
We don’t get distracted by don’t-care metrics (clicks, CTR, CPC…) — we focus on your business objectives.
We don’t blindly trust Google automations — we dissect data and dial in your performance.
Our team gives you less fluff, more precision and full transparency. This is what enables us to deliver typical client results like 50% more qualified leads and 30% less wasted ad spend in our first 3 months of account management. (see case studies)
What do you mean by “white glove attention”?
We are a small team, and we only take on accounts that we are confident we can help succeed. This lets us provide deep, personalized attention. Your contact will always be our founder, Andrew Percey, who is available to you through calls and emails. He directly oversees our team members, all Google Ads veterans with 10+ years of experience, who do the hands-on account management. No junior staff or middlemen here. You always have a direct line to the agency leader, backed by his reliable team, all focused on your success.
Part 2: Are We a Good Fit?
Can our company benefit from your Google Ads management?
Do you have a proven business model with clear objectives, and you need help to get your Google Ads campaigns to better meet those objectives? Then yes, we can very likely help you.
Is our company the right type to partner with you (size, industry, goals)?
We have worked successfully with companies of many different sizes. Most of our clients are mid-market companies spending between $20,000 and $200,000 per month on Google Ads, but we can often help companies with different budgets as well.
We have also worked successfully across many industries. Most of our clients are concentrated in the finance, healthcare, legal and construction industries, but deep industry knowledge is not essential for successful campaign management. Effective lead generation strategies and tactics apply across industries.
We have also worked successfully with both lead generation and e-commerce accounts. However, our specialized service seems to naturally attract more clients who need help with high-value lead generation, so that is where we spend most of our time.
What are your fees?
Fees depend on the needs of your account. There will be a fixed setup fee, a fixed monthly fee (starting at $3,000/month), and a % of ad spend fee for higher ad spend levels. This structure ensures that we can give your account the attention it needs at every stage of growth.
We will provide you with a custom price quote that is simple, transparent, competitive and fair. No hidden fees or surprises.
How long are your contracts?
We require a 3-month initial commitment. Anything shorter might not allow us enough time to demonstrate our value. After that, the work agreement is month-to-month. We keep you as a client through our results, not through contracts.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to guarantee performance outcomes in Google Ads. You should be skeptical of anyone who claims otherwise. Regular market changes, competitor changes, and advertising platform changes make for significant unpredictability.
What we guarantee is our professionalism — that we will care about your business success as much as our own, and that we will follow best practices and proven strategies to set your account on the best path for long-term success.
What does it mean that you are a “Google Partner”?
Achieving “Google Partner” status requires that an agency demonstrate expertise and experience through certifications and a track record of client success. These things are vital to your success.
It is also possible to achieve “Google Premier Partner” status, which requires two things that are not important to your success and that, honestly, we do not want to do. Specifically, it requires that an agency manage a large number of advertiser accounts and also that they regularly bring in brand new advertisers for Google. We are a small, focused agency with a close-knit team, and we like that. We also prefer working with experienced Google Ads advertisers who can better appreciate our value.
We’re feeling so burned out on Google Ads… Why would we hire anyone?
We understand your frustration! It hardly feels like Google is on your side. Most new campaign “features” and guidance from Google representatives focus on one thing — getting you to increase your ad spend — regardless of whether doing so would meet your business needs. And trying to get actual help from Google Ads support… well, we don’t want to speak poorly of anyone, but you can fill in your own blanks here.
Moreover, you’ve likely had a bad experience working with an agency. You found they couldn’t give your account the attention it needed, couldn’t answer your questions adequately, couldn’t map campaign metrics to your business goals, didn’t even seem to be managing themselves well, and weren’t actually very adept with the Google Ads platform. And freelancers you may have tried, while perhaps enthusiastic, were too inexperienced and unreliable.
We have worked hard to be different. Our entire team have been Google Ads specialists for 10+ years, know the platform inside and out, and know how to make lead generation work for most businesses. Our founder, Andrew Percey, managed high-tech engineering and marketing teams in Silicon Valley, and interfaced directly with clients, for 12 years before founding Prometheus PPC. He is your point of contact, always ensuring attentive and timely communication with you while ensuring professionalism and precision within his team of campaign managers.

Part 3: Engagement Details
How will we know our ROI?
Google Ads advertising is an investment, and you hire us to manage that investment for you. Like with any investment, you want to know the ROI. And we want you to know it, so that you will choose to keep us as your trusted partner for many years.
Therefore, we work with you during the account setup phase to ensure that:
- We have a clear mutual understanding of the business objectives for your Google Ads campaigns
- We are accurately tracking all leads generated by your campaigns
- We are accurately tracking “qualified leads” and their value to your business, if at all possible
- We will be able to clearly demonstrate how this lead generation directly ties to your business objectives
In other words, we will make sure you can always see the math showing how campaign metrics (conversions, CPA, ROAS) drive your critical business objectives (revenue, profit, ROI).
How quickly will we see results?
Depending on the current state of your Google Ads account, some results are likely to come very quickly, such as a reduction in wasted ad spend and an increase in ad exposure to your ideal prospects. Other results may take longer, such as increasing conversions, driving down CPA, and growing ad spend profitably. To cover all cases, we ask for an initial 3-month commitment in order to ensure we have time to optimize your account to the point where we can clearly show you its long-term performance potential.
What if we don’t see performance improvement after 90 days?
Firstly, please know that we will not accept you as a new client if we don’t believe we can bring significant improvement in meeting your business objectives within 90 days.
In the rare case that it doesn’t work, you can rest assured that you have given Google Ads the best possible chance to perform for your business given the current market and competitive environment. At that point you might want to turn your efforts to alternative business development channels and possibly try Google Ads again at a later time in a better environment.
How often will we communicate?
We provide a monthly report and associated phone call to keep you fully up to speed with progress. During initial launch, communication is naturally more frequent. Most communication is handled via email, and we are happy to arrange additional calls whenever you would like. We always strive to respond promptly to your questions or concerns whenever they arise.
What will your reports tell us?
Our reports track progress towards your specific business objectives. That usually means a focus on leads or revenue with associated metrics like CPA (cost per lead), ROAS (return on ad spend), profit, etc. To give you a complete picture we will include other data like ad impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, etc., but those are just means to an end. We keep the focus on your critical business metrics.
Will we still own our Google Ads account?
Yes! You always maintain ownership of your Google Ads account as well as the accounts for any 3rd party tools that we might help you manage. We are your invited account managers only for as long as you choose to have us, and we take that privilege seriously.
Do you manage our existing campaigns or create new ones?
That depends on our analysis of your current account configuration vs. your objectives. Sometimes we can continue managing some/all of your existing campaigns. Most often we find that important best practices need to be applied that require a different structure and a fresh start.
Can you fix our conversion tracking?
We can, and we must!
Having complete and accurate conversion tracking is a fundamental requirement for Google Ads success. It can also be quite complicated. But we take care of it for you, including guiding you step-by-step through any website changes that might be required.

What do you do for ongoing campaign optimization?
Campaign optimization never ends. The Google Ads platform is constantly evolving. Your competitors regularly change their ad campaigns and bidding aggressiveness. Your market may shift over time, too, as most do. Your campaigns, therefore, need to be regularly analyzed and adjusted in order to continue meeting your business goals in this dynamic environment.

What tools do you use to manage our campaigns?
We have become experts in a wide variety of tools that are necessary for Google Ads success. These essential tools include the Google ecosystem of the Google Ads interface, Google Ads Editor, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, Google Search Console and Looker Studio. We also leverage a range of 3rd party tools that contribute to analysis and optimization including Adalysis, SEMRush, SpyFu, CallRail, HubSpot, Zapier and more. Part of the value we bring is knowing when and how to deploy these tools to meet your specific objectives.
How do you handle data security?
We take your data protection and confidentiality seriously. We never request confidential or financial information through our website. Only our agency’s founder and campaign managers receive access to your Google Ads account and any related supporting accounts. We only provide our services once we have a strong legal agreement in place. We make sure to operate well within Google’s advertising policies. And we are happy to sign an NDA if that is standard practice for your company.
We know we’re small, but our skills are BIG.
We are a highly analytic team of Google Ads specialists, led by an MIT and Silicon Valley engineer/marketer who works 1:1 with you.
If you need better Google Ads lead generation, you’re in the right place.
